Richard V. Young is the Chief Information Officer for the United States Department of Agriculture/Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).  FAS links U.S. agriculture to the world to enhance export opportunities and global food security.  In addition to its Washington, D.C. staff, the Office of the Chief Information Officer supports a global network of 96 offices covering 167 countries. Prior to USDA, Mr. Young served as the Director of Information Technology Policy & Compliance within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and as the CEO of Physicians Health Solutions, PLLC
